Compact High Precision Ambient Light Sensors
ROHM offers the smallest ambient light sensor ICs on the market. Both ambient and digital types are offered for wide applicability. Common features include a wide measurement range, spectral sensitivity similar to the human eye, and uniform output, regardless of light source. Analog models are available with built-in 3-stage output gain switching and 0uA shutdown current, while digital sensors are offered that integrate a 16bit ADC and provide direct data output.

Current Mode Step-Down Regulators
for Point-of-Load Applications
ROHM’s BD91x series of switching regulators were designed for optimum efficiency. SLLM™ (Simple Light Load Mode) and synchronous rectification is utilized for low power consumption with high efficiency under all load conditions, even during suspension (non-switching) mode. Additional features include integrated low ON-resistance power MOSFETs, a current sense/feedback loop that quickly senses load current variations for reduced voltage variation, multiple protection circuits, and a highly integrated structure that minimizes the number of external components required (10) while reducing inductor size. The series is offered in a variety of compact package types, ensuring compatibility with applications of all types.

PWM Output H-Bridge Driver ICs Featuring Variable Speed Control for DC Brush Motors
ROHM H-bridge driver ICs offer a simple solution for high efficiency Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) motor speed control using either the built-in VREF-variable function to change the duty pulse or direct PWM control via TTL (logic-level) input from an MCU.
The broad lineup is offered in a range of voltage classes (7V, 18V and 36V), current ratings (0.5A, 1.0A and 2.0A), and package types for maximum compatibility. All models feature a wide operating temperature range (-40 to 85 °C) and 0uA standby current, minimizing power consumption. |
